Another Great Century
I just want to thank you for another great century.
You are so organized. The support and route marking is great.
The idea of spreading out more Porta Potties along the route was brilliant.
Thanks again.

Lost Jersey
Hi,
I was on the Tierra Bella today and lost a rust colored, long sleeved, womans, jersey. It fell off the back of my bike carrier. If anyone found it and turns it in please let me know. It fell off somewhere on the flats between Canada Rd. and Hill.
Thank you !!!!

Thank all Volunteers
I wanted to thank all of the volunteers staffing the food stops and those posted along the roads--everyone was so helpful and good spirited; they really made this ride special. I will definitely be back next year as I think this is one of the best organized and beautiful rides I've been on!

Wonderfully Organized Event
Hi,
First of all, thanks for a wonderfully organized event. This is my 5th ride since 1999 and it's also the first time I tried 100K. Very 'professional crews and very, very lucky that we get a break between all the rainy days to do this.
We came as a family with two teenage kids, all signed up for the 100K. I got to the Hotspring rest stop about 2:00 and Mr. Bob took all our photos. However, I did not see them on the ACTC website as photos from 12:00-12:30 was repeated and took the 2:00-3:06s slots.
Can someone look into this that we can see how beat-up we were? :)
Thank again.
Kirk L.

What a Fun Day!
Hello all Almaden Cycle Touring Club Tierra Bella volunteers,
A group of us riders from the San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club finished the Tierra Bella Saturday. What a fun day! We rode the 100 mile route through some beautiful country. You did an excellent job marking the route and designing the route sheet. The food was good through out the trip. It was especially nice to have volunteers on busy corners flagging traffic. The dinner after the ride was well done and it was nice to have that yummy apple pie. There was plenty of food and you did not run out. I have no suggestions to make it better, you have it wired!
Next year we will be back with more riders. Thank you for putting together a great event. I know that you did not arrange the weather but that was also spectacular!!

Reststops were Wonderful
My wife and I had a great time on our ride. The rest stops were wonderful with good food and refreshments. Whatever you did for the weather hope it works next year too. One suggestion, at the turn onto Sixth Street towards the Gilroy hot springs part an advance sign or person would be helpful. Several riders went past it or tried to make a sudden slowing

Your Club Puts on One of the Best
I've done hundred of centuries and a fair amount of doubles in my 17 years of organized rides, and while I haven't done them all, I still think your club puts on one of the best. Great organization and support, friendly volunteers, superb food, and a beautiful course (including Metcalf). Thanks so much. This was my first Tierra Bella and obviously I was very impressed. Plus, the rain gods like you. See you next year.

Everyone Was So Friendly
I had a terrific time Saturday, and weren't we lucky we had such perfect biking weather. I appreciated having folks along the route to point us in the right direction (and cheer us on) although the street markings were clear and easy to follow. The volunteers at the food stops and the cafeteria are pretty special people for taking on such a task; everyone was so friendly and cheerful that it added an extra dimension to an already great day. I loved the lunch, the enchiladas were great and so was the pie. I'm hooked!

Firest Rate Support
Thanks for the first rate support and great event.. It was great having plenty of passing sags, enthusiastic rest stop workers, well marked course, good finishing meal and nice start/ finish venue. Unfortunately the San Jose-Gilroy corridor has grown, and while 1/2 the route (did the 200K) beautiful rustic roads, the other 1/2 with lots of traffic through suburban ho-hum. If you can figure out a way to get us on more back roads--even if it means adding some climbing, please consider. Grazie.

Outstanding Support
Just wanted to thank you folks for the great event and outstanding support!
I did the 200k and am still in too much pain to consider doing this again in 2007.
Thanks!

Great in All Respects
The 2006 Tierra Bella Century was really great in all respects: the route, the scenery, the food, the support, and most of all the weather

It was Outstanding
This was the first time I did this ride. IT WAS OUTSTANDING. Although it kicked my butt, I can't wait until next year!
